A condensed six-week martial arts program for security professionals and others who want practical defensive skills on the job. This is not an Ontario Security Guard Licence (training & testing) course. It is a defensive-skills supplement focused on awareness, control tactics and appropriate defensive techniques.

What happens in class
Training covers situational awareness, de-escalation mindset, control and defensive techniques appropriate for professionals who may face hostile situations — taught in a dojang setting.
Skills and outcomes
Participants complete a six-week skills program designed to complement — not replace — any licensing or workplace training their employer requires.

Safety and equipment

Located in Toronto District Christian High School. Enter through the main school entrance used for evening programs. The gym / training area is inside — look for Woodbridge Taekwon-Do signs, or ask at the front desk.
FAQ
Will this get me my Ontario security guard licence?
No. You must complete the government-approved licensing pathway separately. This course is optional martial arts skills training for people in or entering the security field.
